I would like to buy pre-need
insurance but what happens
if I decided to relocate and
be buried in another
city or state, will I lose
my money?
A:
You may be charged a small
fee in some cases depending
upon the policy you buy but
the policy is definitely
portable.
Q:
Is it true that a person can
buy a casket from any source
and the funeral home has to
accept the casket without
any intimidation?
A:
Caskets may be brought to
the funeral of choice from
any source including caskets
that may be homemade. Click

Q:
Is it true that there is a
tremendous markup placed on
caskets?
A:
Caskets have been found to
be marked up several hundred
percent at some funeral
homes. It is recommended to
shop around for the best
price on caskets.

Can I have visitation at my
home.
A:
We offer the option for the
viewing to be held at a
home, church or other
location.
Q:
Why can't I buy a casket
at a casket retailer in the
state of Louisiana?
A:
Unfortunately, by present
law in Louisiana the retail
sale of caskets to the
public is illegal.
Q:
Can I drive across the
Louisiana border, buy a
casket and bring it to the
funeral home myself?
A:
It is perfectly legal to buy
and bring your own casket to
the funeral home of your
choice.
